The Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating events, delivering top-tier customer service and providing exceptional administrative support.

The position
As an events coordinator, you’ll play a central role in creating exciting experiences in the grape and wine industry. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Being the creative force behind a variety of events like tastings, seminars, workshops, webinars and more. You will see these events through from start to finish which includes managing budgets, schedules, logistics, glassware, advertising and travel arrangements.
• Handling a diverse array of administrative responsibilities, from inbox management to coordinating team resources, you’ll ensure seamless project delivery.
• Collaborating closely with other teams, you’ll actively seek opportunities to enhance processes and infuse innovative ideas into our work.
• Assist in the maintenance of digital applications like our website, calendars, schedules, and budgets.
• Support the team in providing our in-house wine show software. This includes testing new features, developing system design specifications and offering responsive helpdesk support to our valued clients.
• Utilise data and feedback, continuously evaluating and improving the effectiveness and impact of our events and activities
• Being a vital part of the workshop team for the Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference

The ideal candidate
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Flexibility to handle changing event dynamics and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a high level of attention to detail
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively with a team
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction
• Comfortable and confident with using digital tools and are technology savvy
• Innovative thinking and ability to bring new ideas to the table.
• A professional demeanour and representation of the organisation in all interactions
• We’re seeking a proactive and innovative individual who is eager to bring fresh ideas, learns quickly, and takes initiative.
• Willingness and ability to travel within Australia to undertake project work
