The Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) is the Australian grape and wine industry’s own research organisation. Applications are invited for a full-time position of Viticulturist to contribute to the quality and integrity of Australian wine through provision of technical support to grape and wine industry personnel. This position will respond to enquiries received through the AWRI helpdesk regarding viticultural practices. It will also support content development and delivery of viticultural extension and practice change activities, including seminars, workshops and other communications.
The ideal candidate will have degree in viticulture or a related discipline, and at least three to five years of practical industry experience of grapegrowing and production practices. They will be an excellent communicator and work well within a busy team environment.
