Shiralee Dodd graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2000 with an Arts Degree majoring in Classical Studies and a Law Degree in which she achieved honours. She obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Society of South Australia in 2001 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in February 2002 and the High Court of Australia later that year.
Shiralee worked as a law clerk during 2000 and 2001 at Jeremy Moore & Associates in Strathalbyn, South Australia and became an Associate Solicitor with the firm when she was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2002. Jeremy Moore & Associates was a small general practice firm and Shiralee practiced mostly in the areas of Wills, Estates and Conveyancing however also took on matters in the areas of family law, commercial law, medical negligence, personal injury, workcover and minor criminal matters.
Shiralee left Jeremy Moore & Associates and the legal profession in October 2004 and took up the role of Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at the AWRI.
Current role:
Over Shiralee\'s time at the AWRI her role has changed and expanded and she is currently the Executive Officer and the Company Secretary. She works closely with the Managing Director and the Board of Directors with a strong focus on corporate governance. Shiralee completed the Company Directors Course, through the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2010.
