Agrochemicals booklet (‘Dog book’) and mobile app

Information about agrochemicals is published annually by the AWRI in a booklet titled Agrochemicals registered for use in Australian viticulture, commonly known as the ‘Dog book’. The booklet is distributed free to all wineries that pay the wine research levy, and as an insert in the July edition of Australian & New Zealand Grapegrower & Winemaker. If you are a member of the Australian wine industry and would like to receive a hard copy of the 2024/25 ‘Dog book’ by mail, please complete the ‘Dog book’ sign-up form.

A pdf version of Agrochemical Booklet 2024-2025 is also available for download.

Alternatively, all the information is included in the AWRI’s Agrochemical and MRL Search app, available for free download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

NOTE: The Android app has recently been updated on the Google Play Store. Existing users are asked to delete the app from their devices and download the new version here: AWRI Agrochemical MRLs Search. This update does not apply to the Apple version of the app.

Electronic versions of the ‘Dog book’ (pdf, online search and app)  are all updated regularly. To keep in touch with all changes as they happen, sign up for the AWRI’s free eBulletin.

You can also download a copy of the revised version of “Grapevine growth stages – The modified E-L system” Viticulture 1 – Resources. 2nd edition 2004. Eds. Dry, P. and Coombe, B. (Winetitles) as a PDF file (234kb).

The AWRI’s agrochemicals project is supported by Wine Australia, with levies from Australia’s grapegrowers and winemakers and matching funds from the Australian Government.
